fall card for Robyn

Just as I'm ready to wear tights and make soup in Georgia, Robyn is sporting lawn tank tops and making cold salads in Rio. I thought I'd send a little northern hemisphere back with her on her birthday card to remind her that somewhere there are leaves turning and days shortening and friends missing her.

  1. I love my card! I'm rebelling and pretending these last few cool (ish) Rio days are the beginnings of fall... I made black-eyed peas and cornbread for dinner tonight and am considering a pumpkin pie some time later this week. Can you tell I miss the Southland?

    1. Yes, I can tell! You just go ahead and make all the pumpkin stuff you want. Do they have any pumpkins there?

  2. We have pumpkin-like squash that I can use. It works, as long as I remember which one to buy, since it looks nothing like an American pumpkin. :)

  3. Hi Larissa!
I love this so much, I was here this morning to check out the reviews on the tops you made and sew this beauty instead : )
